So this beautiful hand is not from Xavier but from our good friend, Christophe. Tof is in Brazil with Olivier ("OP") enjoying the surf. And from the photos on facebook, you can tell they are really enjoying. Tof took the time to send Mom a message of 'Get Well' with this beautiful hand from the beaches of Brazil. So amazing!
Mom gets here in a week! Olivier and I are so excited to have her here. It's starting to look like spring and I don't doubt we're going to have a great time!
As for the chemo, the Doxil ended up not being the ticket so they had to change on her again. This new treatment has some benefits as it does not cause the rashes she was getting with Doxil but it is 2 x per month instead of 1. They'll give her a double-dose before her flight over to see us. She sounds great when we talk so I have to believe this was the right move. We'll know how
